Contestants are asked to develop a new pattern that could be either a re-interpretation of the Hermes classic patterns or something completely different, that could be used for the silk-screen printing or weaving technique.

Fuck, I am tired. 10 hour shifts are no joke. At 10am I was playing with Brooklyn Dawn. I don't know about what you think but her name is fucking rad. My friend decided to name her that during the production of "The Black Album". Anyways, she brought me Mark and Aaron donuts. I think she had too many herself. She was running around like crazy. I am a big fan of New York based design studio, Son of Tam.They specialize in packaging and designing. I would love to work with them for a project. They seem to understand the concept of simplicity and sophistication. They also have really good choices for their typefaces. While browsing through their website, I found a section called "Sound In Print". It is an exhibition project. The idea is to visualize a song. How would you picture "Wandering Star" ?

Apple has quietly introduced a new 4GB iPod shuffle. Not only is it bigger on the inside, it's smaller on the outside. It has no buttons other than the shuffle mode switch. The new Shuffle also talks to you. Press the center button on the remote (a long press) and the "VoiceOver" function will tell you the name of the song and artist you are listening to, and it will also read your playlists. This is a rather helpful new feature, especially since, at 4GB, the Shuffle is approaching the capacity of the original full-sized white iPod. VoiceOver speaks 14 languages, from Spanish to Mandarin.

This man gives you every reason to hate him (and he knows it) but you can't deny that this dude knows exactly how to perform an incredibly intimate & surreal experience. At any rate, his VH1 Storytellers was amazing. The set was designed magnificently. I think the best part of the set was the lighting. Whoever designed the set must know his/her color palettes extremely well and has a great taste in color combination's.
